Raku Nights!

Join us at Jane’s for an exciting Raku fired pottery experience! This unique low-temperature firing technique, inspired by traditional Japanese methods, involves quickly removing glowing-hot pottery from the kiln. The post-fire reduction process creates wonderfully organic results.

Bring bisque-fired pots ready to glaze (B-mix with grog or Raku clay recommended) finished pieces will be ready the same day but are not functional.
Wear long pants, cotton clothing, and closed-toed shoes. Expect heat, flames, and smoke.
Smaller pieces preferred;  2-3 pieces per person under 10 inches tall.
